There's a version of me that exists only at the stables. Boots, braided hair, no phone, no camera pointed at my face. Just a horse, a fence line, and a long exhale. It's the quietest part of my life, and I'm glad it exists.
Why Horses
I grew up loving animals and riding has been something I've come back to over the years in bursts. Modeling is expressive — everything about it is external, visible, performed. Riding is the opposite. You can't fake a horse into trusting you. You have to be grounded, calm, and quiet inside your own body. That balance is the whole reason I keep coming back to it.
A Quiet Day at the Barn
My routine when I'm at the stables is plain and unglamorous. Tack up. Warm up in the arena. Then out on a hack if the weather holds — gentle trail riding through the countryside, nothing dramatic. I'm not competing and I'm not chasing a highlight reel. I'm just spending a morning with a horse.
I usually ride in the kind of outfit nobody will ever see on Instagram: worn-in jodhpurs, a plain shirt, minimal makeup. It's on purpose. This part of my life isn't content.
What It Gives Me
A few hours at the barn resets my head more than any other thing I do. After a long travel stretch or a heavy shooting week, riding is how I come back to myself. I leave with sore legs, tangled hair, and a head that finally stopped spinning.
I think every creator needs a part of their life that isn't for anyone else. For me, this is it.
The Countryside Side of Poland
Poland has beautiful riding country — long open fields, forest trails, small family-run stables. It's easy to forget that side of Poland exists if you only see the big cities. A slower, quieter Europe still exists, and being out there is one of the things I love most about being Polish.
If You're Thinking About Riding
Start at a reputable school. Don't rush past the basics. Wear a helmet, every time, no exceptions. And don't ride for the photo — ride for the ride. The photo never ends up being the part that matters.
